LAKE LOUISE/SKOKI LODGE SAFETY ASSURANCE

We've always taken pride in sharing this beautiful place with you, and the Lake Louise/Skoki Lodge Safety Assurance is our commitment to our guests and staff's well-being. Our safety protocols are in place for guests and staff at Skoki Lodge to ensure everyone stays well and enjoys their backcountry lodge experience.
In all Skoki Lodge areas, we have implemented distancing protocols to ensure guests have plenty of space to enjoy the lodge safely and for staff to work safely.Common areas at Skoki are clearly laid out to allow for safe physical distancing.
Please note: The common area downstairs in the main lodge will be limited to a maximum of 4 guests for no more than 20 minutes at a time.
We have enhanced cleaning protocols at all guest and staff touchpoints to ensure our sanitization procedures exceed current Alberta Health Services guidance and industry standards.
Cleaning supplies will be provided in each room or cabin to allow guests to keep their areas disinfected.
High touch surfaces, dining areas, kitchen, and outhouses will be sanitized on a scheduled basis.
Upon check-in and arrival at the lodge, guests and staff will see a series of Alberta Health Services screening questions to ensure we maintain everyone's health and safety.
If a guest shows signs of Covid-19 or any flu-like symptom before their visit, they must cancel.
Before arriving in Lake Louise, we recommend using these self-assessment tools provided by Alberta and BC governments.
Covid-19 screening will take place upon check-in at our Experience Lake Louise location located in Samson Mall in the village of Lake Louise. Skoki staff will check in with all guests daily to see if anyone is experiencing Covid-19 or flu-like symptoms. If a guest or staff member experiences Covid-19 or flu-like symptoms, they will be required to leave Skoki Lodge immediately. Evacuation transportation will be provided.
FOOT TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT
Throughout the lodge, you will see directional signage to help our guests and staff safely move through indoor and outdoor areas.
For everyone's safety, guests and staff are required to wea rface masks at all times, except when seated at designated tables, and in rooms/cabins.
Guests are asked to wear face coverings outside lodge and cabins if 2m distancing cannot be achieved
In certain areas, plexiglass shields have been installed to ensure both guests and staff are kept safe.
We encourage guests to thoroughly wash their hands with soap and water and frequently use the hand sanitizer stations throughout the lodge.
Breakfast and dinner meals will be individually plated, and lunch will be prepared and bagged by Skoki staff.
Afternoon tea and charcuterie will also be prepared separately for each room by Skoki staff.
Guests will need to bring their own games, books, masks, small personal hand sanitizing bottles, and outdoor footwear.
Skoki staff will not enter guest rooms or cabins while occupied unless repairs or maintenance are required.
For those guests who have been to Skoki Lodge before, the dining experience will look much different due to the latest Covid-19 restrictions.
- All rooms and cabins are now required to eat in their rooms.
- All meals will be plated.
- Breakfast is served at 8:00 am. For all those early risers, tea and coffee are ready at 6:30 am.
- Lunch is packed by staff, filled with goodies for adventures on the trail.
- Tea Service runs between 2:00 pm and 4:00 pm. Homemade soup and charcuterie will welcome guests to the lodge.
- Dinner is served at 7:00 pm, followed by dessert.
- Drink service will be provided to rooms and cabins.
REMINDER: A minimum of 2 weeks' notice is required for the lodge to accommodate any allergies or dietary restrictions. If you have not let the reservation team know of any allergies or dietary restrictions, please contact them ASAP at 1-403-522-1347. Skoki Lodge is not able to cater to personal preferences.
Beer, Wine & Spirits
Skoki Lodge is a licensed facility, and personal alcoholic beverages cannot be consumed in public areas. We offer a tasty selection of Alberta and British Columbia craft beer and cider, an international wine list and select spirits. All items are available for purchase by either cash or Visa/MasterCard. Sorry, but Visa Debit cards are not accepted.
FOSSIL & SILVERTIP ROOM UPDATES
Due to the latest Covid-19 restrictions, we have made changes to bookings for the Fossil and Silvertip rooms. Guests booked in the Fossil room will now be staying in the Merlin room in order to allow space for in-room dining. We have moved the queen bed from the Fossil room to the Merlin, so only the room's location has changed. The single bed from the Silvertip room has now been moved to the Fossil room to provide space for in-room dining.
